A memorial
with the list of all the Montana residents who were awarded the Purple Heart
medal in past wars has been erected on the Courthouse Lawn in Billings, MT.
The names represent those wounded in combat action from the Indian Wars up
to the Afghanistan War. Panels & index is current as of Oct.

2012. For ease of locating a name on the panels, click the index links
at the top and bottom of this page and note the panel Number and line where
the name will be located. Front or south facing panels are numbered from
left to right. Rear or north facing panels are numbered from right to left.
NOTE:
This is very much a work in
progress, so please bear with me as I try to make it better. Realize that
