The stabilizer bolted to the axle and nearly touching the axle stop plate.
The pieces as the mod starts. 1/4" thick 6" steel plate, The helical trimmed to length, and the crop divider as removed from the processor. Notice the Marks-A-Lot marks drawn flush with the small step on the cage before the divider was removed.
The cut helical, The crop divider cut along the marks, and a triangle cut from the 1/4" plate.
Crop divider piece welded to the triangle that was bent to follow the curve of the crop divider. Also notice the small piece of sheet that is welded as a backer for the top bolt on the helical.
