Old shingles were T-Lock type installed in 1978. The effects of our weather are very evident as the heat, sunlight , and a few hailstorms resulted in curling and "alligatoring".
Wane is peeling the old ones off and loading a bucket attached to the telehandler.
We had to work around two apple trees growing near the shop. We made three swaths of the removal and we're about done with the final pass.
Pallet of shingles loaded and being lain. I chose 50 year Malarkey brand laminated architectural type shingles. It required 12 squares, weighing 285 lbs. / square for this side.
