My father Mike Boysun with his new harvest equipment. I believe this picture was taken in either 1944 or 1943. Notice the home-built cab and lights added for night time operation. The tractor didn't have electric start, but dad fashioned and mounted a generator for lighting duties.
I missed this harvest as I was in the Army at the time. Dad's Gleaner C2 and '53 Ford Truck. The C2s with Cabs and the other trucks belonged to a custom crew from Texas.
